With the blessing of God, from June 7-10, 2026 the University of Notre Dame hosted the Coptic Orthodox Bishops of North America for a theological seminar about “St Athanasius and the Work of Salvation.” Fr. Khaled Anatolius, Chair the Department of Theology, delivered a series of lectures. Fr. Bob Dowd, the President of the University, welcomed the bishops to campus. The bishops concluded with the celebration of the Divine Liturgy on Wednesday, June 10.
