On June 12, 2016, His Holiness Pope the Tawadros II ordained Their Graces, His Grace Bishop Abraham and His Grace Bishop Kyrillos as Auxiliary Bishops to serve in the Diocese of Los Angeles under the auspices of His Eminence Metropolitan Serapion at the Cathedral of the Holy Virgin Mary in Zeitoun, Cairo.
May the Lord keep the life of our honoured father the patriarch Pope Abba Tawadros Il and his partners in the holy apostolic ministry our honored father Metropolitan Abba Serapion and our honored father the Bishop Abba Abraham and our honored father the Bishop Abba Kyrillos.
