On the 13th day of the blessed Coptic month of Baounah, 1742 AM, of the Martyrs, Saturday, June 20, 2026 AD, His Eminence Metropolitan Serapion laid his hands on and ordained the blessed servant Anthony Zaki as Deacon Anthony Zaki, for the Christ-loving Diocese of Los Angeles to serve at St. Basil American Coptic Orthodox Church in San Diego, Southern California, prior to his priestly ordination on Sunday June 21, 2026. His Grace Bishop Abraham and His Grace Bishop Kyrillos also participated in the ordination.
