On the Feast of Pentecost, the 23rd day of the blessed Coptic month of Bashans, 1742 A.M. (Year of the Martyrs), Sunday, May 31, 2026 A.D., His Eminence Metropolitan Serapion laid hands upon and ordained the blessed servant Michael Habashi to the rank of Full Deacon under the name Deacon Basil Habashi, for the Christ-loving Diocese of Los Angeles, to serve at St. Mary & St. Verena Coptic Orthodox Church in Yorba Linda, California. His Grace Bishop Abraham and His Grace Bishop Kyrillos also participated in the ordination. May God bless every work for the glory of His holy name.
