New Parish in Chino Hills Opens this Weekend
With great joy, the Diocese announces the opening of a new parish in Chino Hills this weekend. The parish, Holy Transfiguration American Coptic Orthodox Church, is a missionary church with a focus on English services and young families. God willing, it will serve Chino Hills and its surrounding regions alongside the existing large parishes in the area. New Women’s Ministry and Spiritual Day – June 21
With the blessing of our father, Bishop Serapion, there have been several fruitful discussions about establishing a diocese-wide Women’s Ministry to help address the needs of women in our Orthodox diocese. On Saturday, June 21, the Ministry will begin with a spiritual day for all women at St. John Church in Covina.
