On Thursday, October 14, 2004, H.G. Bishop Serapion left Egypt for Switzerland for a pastoral visit of the Coptic churches in the German and French regions of Switzerland. During this visit, His Grace will also meet with Fr. Joseph Boules, priest of St. Mary and St. Verena Church in Anaheim, and Fr. Gregory Bishay, priest of St. Verena and the Three Holy Youth in Orange, as well as delegations from both churches in order to visit the Church of St. Verena in Zurzag, where they will receive parts of the relics of St. Verena to be placed in both churches. The celebration for receiving the relics will be on Saturday, October 16, 2004.
The celebrations for placing the relics in the respective churches will be held on October 23, 2004, at St. Mary and St. Verena Church, and on Sunday, October 24, 2004, at St. Verena and the Three Holy Youth.
