On Sunday, October 30, 2022, His Eminence Metropolitan Serapion, along with Their Graces, Bishop Suriel, Bishop Abraham, and Bishop Kyrillos ordained the blessed servant, Deacon Bishoy, as a priest in the Diocese of Los Angeles. He was given the name, Fr. Jeremiah Awad. This blessed event took place at St. Mina Coptic Orthodox Church in Colton.
Following the ordination, the new priest proceeded to St. Paul Brotherhood in Murrieta to spend the 40 days. He will return to start his ministry at St. Mina Coptic Orthodox Church in Colton.
Apart from our father His Eminence and their graces, all or part of this blessed event Hegumen Fr. Macarius Shehata, Hegumen Fr. Bishoy Ray, and Presbyters Fr. Antony Selim, Fr. Kyrillos Ibrahiem, Fr. Moses Samaan, Fr. George Awad, Fr. George Galla, and Fr. Macarius Refela.
In addition, participated in this blessed event Archdeacon Kyrillos Beshara, Deacon Boutros Peters, and Deacon Mina Zakhary.
