Message and Letter of Condolences from the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops for the Departure of His Holiness Pope Shenouda III

Fr. Ron Roberson of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops sent Bishop Serapion a message of condolences for the departure of His Holiness Pope Shenouda III, saying,

Please accept the sincere condolences of all the staff of the Secretariat for Ecumenical and Interreligious Affairs at the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops on the death of His Holiness Pope Shenouda III. This is a great loss for Christians everywhere, and we pray for his eternal rest.

I am sending you here, for your information, a letter that Timothy Cardinal Dolan, the Archbishop of New York and President of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops, sent yesterday to Metropolitan Pachomious in Cairo.
