His Grace Bishop Kyrillos attending and presenting the Coptic Orthodox Church at the International Conference: Nicaea and the Church of the Third Millennium – Towards Catholic-Orthodox Unity, held in Rome from June 4–7, 2025.

Clergy, scholars, students, and ecumenical leaders from across the globe are gathering at the Angelicum for this historic conference. Over the next four days, the event will mark the 1700th anniversary of the First Ecumenical Council of Nicaea and explore its significance for Catholic-Orthodox unity in our time.

His Grace Bishop Kyrillos opened with a powerful meditation on Nicaea and the mystery of salvation, affirming that: “The Apostolic Tradition is a stream of salvation history flowing through Nicaea into our own day.”
