On the 20th day of the blessed month of Kiahk, Saturday, December 30, 2023, His Eminence Metropolitan Serapion accompanied by His Grace Abraham celebrated the Divine Liturgy at St. John Coptic Orthodox Church in West Covina, California.
His Eminence and His Grace baptized baby Raphael Tawdross and ordained six of the faithful to the rank of Reader and eight of the faithful to the rank of Chanter.
Participating in the Divine Liturgy were Hegumens: Fr. Gawargious Kolta, Fr. Meina Alber Youssef, and Fr. Shenouda Ghatas. Presbyters: Fr. Youhanna Youssef, Fr. David, Elias, Fr. George Aziz, and Fr. Joseph Gorgi. Archdeacon Thomas Moussa and Deacon Moussa Girgis.
