On the 3rd Sunday of the blessed Coptic month of Tubah, 1742, AD of the Martyrs, January 25, 2026, After the prayer of Reconciliation His Eminence Metropolitan Serapion accompanied by His Grace Bishop Abraham and His Grace Bishop Kyrillos laid hands on and ordained the blessed Deacon Kyrillos Hanna as a priest in the Christ Loving Diocese of Los Angeles to serve at St. Mary & St. Athanasius Coptic Orthodox Church in Northridge, California. He was given the name Fr. Kyrillos Hanna. The ordination took place at St. Mary & St. Athanasius Coptic Orthodox Church in Northridge, California.
Following the ordination, the new priest will proceede to St. Paul The Apostle Coptic Orthodox Monastery in Murrieta, California, to spend the 40 days. After spending the 40 days, Fr. Kyrillos Hanna will return to start his ministry at St. Mary & St. Athanasius Coptic Orthodox Church in Northridge, California.
