On the 1st Sunday of the blessed Great Lent Fast, 15 Amshir, 1742 AM, year of the Martyrs, February 22, 2026 AD, After the prayer of Reconciliation, His Eminence Metropolitan Serapion accompanied by His Grace Bishop Abraham and His Grace Bishop Kyrillos laid hands on and ordained the blessed Deacon Pachomius Abdelsayed as a priest in the Christ Loving Diocese of Los Angeles to serve at St. Thomas The Hermit Coptic Orthodox Church in Temecula, California at St. Thomas The Hermit Coptic Orthodox Church in Temecula, California. He was given the name Fr. Pachomius Abdelsayed.
Following the ordination, the new priest will proceede to St. Paul The Apostle Coptic Orthodox Monastery in Murrieta, California, to spend the 40 days. After spending the 40 days, Fr. Pachomius Abdelsayed will return to start his ministry.
