On Sunday July 31, 2022, Fr. Kyrillos Fam was ordained as a priest in the Diocese of Los Angeles by His Eminence Metropolitan Serapion, along with Their Graces, Bishop Suriel, Bishop Abraham, and Bishop Kyrillos at St. Pope Kerollos VI Coptic Orthodox Church in Westminster.
The Divine Liturgy commenced with the ordination of the new priest after the Prayer of Reconciliation.
The congregation joyfully proclaimed Deacon Kyrillos worthy of the grace and rank of the priesthood before His Eminence and their graces laid their hands on him.
Following the ordination, the new priest proceeded to St. Paul Brotherhood in Murrieta to spend the 40 days. He will return to start his ministry at St. Pope Kerollos VI Coptic Orthodox Church in Westminster.
Apart from our father His Eminence and their graces, all or part of this blessed event was Hegumen Fr. Felimon Mikhail, Hegumen Fr. Athanasius Ragheb, Hegumen Fr. Beshoy Kamel, Hegumen Fr. Youhanna Ibrahim, and Presbyters Fr. Kyrillos Ibrahiem, Fr. Youssef Zaki Fr. Moses Samaan, Fr. Samuel Aiyed, Fr. Kyrillos Guirguis, Fr. Macarius Refela, and Fr. Philopateer Hanna.
We pray that God may grant Fr. Kyrillos Fam the fruit of the Holy Spirit and continue to bless the service in our Christ-loving diocese.
