On Sunday, March 26, 2023, His Eminence Metropolitan Serapion accompanied by His Grace Bishop Abraham and His Grace Bishop Kyrillos, attended special concert for the hymns of the Great Fast, Pascha, and Holy Resurrection.
This event was hosted by ACTS under the new Department of Hymnology.
This department will be the only one of its kind in North America and will be collaborating with the St. Didymos Institute for Cantors in Egypt teaching the various hymns of the Coptic Orthodox Tradition. The concert included educational insights presented by the ACTS Department of Liturgical Studies as to the rich history and deep meanings of the hymns.
This event took place at Embassy Suites in Garden Grove, California.
The event was also attended by many blessed Hegumens, Presbyters, and congregation members from several churches of the diocese.
