Fr. Moses Khalil was born in Cairo, Egypt. He earned an engineering degree and practiced his profession before he was called to the priesthood. His Eminence Metropolitan Serapion accompanied by His Grace Bishop Bishop Stephanos (Bishop of Beba, Fashn & Samasta), His Grace Bishop Abraham, and His Grace Bishop Kyrillos ordained Fr. Moses as Full Deacon on August 1, 2025. On August 3, 2025, His Eminence Metropolitan Serapion accompanied by His Grace Bishop Abraham and His Grace Bishop Kyrillos laid hands on and ordained him a presbyter to serve at Holy Nativity Coptic Orthodox Church in Riverside, California.
