On the 2nd Sunday of the blessed Great Lent Fast, 22 Amshir, 1742 AM, year of the Martyrs, March 1st, 2026 AD, His Eminence Metropolitan Serapion laid his hand on and ordained the blessed servant John Assad as Deacon Isaac Assad, for the Christ loving Diocese of Los Angeles to serve at Holy Annunciation Coptic Orthodox Church in Inglewood, California, and to serve in the Diakonia Department. His Grace Bishop Abraham and His Grace Bishop Kyrillos also participated in the ordination.
