On the 4th Sunday of the blessed Coptic month of Hathor, 1742, December 7, 2025, His Eminence Metropolitan Serapion accompanied by His Grace Bishop Kyrillos, celebrated the Divine Liturgy, ordained several to the rank Chanter (Psaltos), and conducted the groundbreaking for the new construction building of St. Luke Coptic Orthodox Christian Academy at St. Mary & St. Verena Coptic Orthodox Church in Yorba Linda, California. In the presence of Mayor Carlos Rodriguez, Mayor of the City of Yorba Linda, and City Council Member Mr. Shivinder Singh.
