On the 16th day of the blessed Coptic month of Baramhat, 1742 year of the Martyrs, Wednesday, March 25, 2026, His Eminence Metropolitan Serapion after receiving the blessing and the approval of His Holiness Pope Tawadros II, consecrated sister Gabriela & sister Raphaela to the rank of Deaconess at
St. Katherine of Alexandria & St. Verena Coptic Orthodox Convent in Hemet, California. There names are Deaconess Gabriela and Deaconess Raphaela. It is worth mentioning that they were consecrated by the holy hands of His Holiness Pope Shenouda III as consecrated sisters on Saturday August 28, 2004 at St. George church – Bellflower.
His Grace Bishop Abraham and His Grace Bishop Kyrillos participated in the consecration prayers.
