With great joy, the Diocese announces the ordination of a new priest for St. Demiana Coptic Orthodox Church in Bakersfield.
The candidate, Mr. Beshoy Dawood, will be ordained by His Grace Bishop Serapion as a Deacon on Wednesday, September 30 and later ordained as a presbyter on Sunday, October 4 at St. Demiana Church. Both Divine Liturgies will be from 8:00-11:30 a.m.
We congratulate the parish community and pray that God may grant him the fruit of the Holy Spirit.
