On Saturday Eve, His Eminence Metropolitan Serapion celebrated the Vespers Prayer of the 1st Sunday of Tubah at St. Peter and St. Paul Coptic Orthodox Church in Santa Monica, California.
His Eminence met with the blessed congregation of the church to ensure their well-being during the wildfires occurring in Southern California, as St. Peter and St. Paul Church is the closest church to the affected areas.
Participated in the Vespers Prayer were: Hegumen: Fr. Poules Megally and Presbyter: Fr. Isaac Androus.
We pray the Lord may repose the souls of those who departed and console their families. We also pray for those who lost their homes, properties, or works and for those who are suffering and in pain because of this disaster.
