On the 4th Sunday of the blessed Coptic month of Abib, 1741, August 3rd, 2025, After the prayer of Reconciliation His Eminence Metropolitan Serapion accompanied by His Grace Bishop Abraham and His Grace Bishop Kyrillos laid hands on and ordained the blessed Deacon Moses Khalil as a priest in the Christ Loving Diocese of Los Angeles to serve at Holy Nativity Coptic Orthodox Church in Riverside, California.
He was given the name Fr. Moses Khalil.
The ordination took place at Holy Nativity Coptic Orthodox Church in Riverside, California.
Following the ordination, the new priest will proceede to St. Paul The Apostle Coptic Orthodox Monastery in Murrieta, California, to spend the 40 days. After spending the 40 days, Fr. Moses Khalil will return to start his ministry at Holy Nativity Coptic Orthodox Church in Riverside, California.
