On the 3rd Sunday of the blessed Coptic month of Hathor, 1742, November 30, 2025, After the prayer of Reconciliation His Eminence Metropolitan Serapion accompanied by His Grace Bishop Abraham and His Grace Bishop Kyrillos laid hands on and ordained the blessed Deacon Matthew Mikhaiel as a priest in the Christ Loving Diocese of Los Angeles to serve at St. George Coptic Orthodox Church in Bellflower, California. He was given the name Fr. Matthew Mikhaiel.
The ordination took place at St. George Coptic Orthodox Church in Bellflower, California.
Following the ordination, the new priest will proceede to St. Paul The Apostle Coptic Orthodox Monastery in Murrieta, California, to spend the 40 days. After spending the 40 days, Fr. Matthew Mikhaiel will return to start his ministry at St. George Coptic Orthodox Church in Bellflower, California.
