On the 19th day of the blessed Coptic month of Hatour, 1742, Friday, November 28, 2025, His Eminence Metropolitan Serapion accompanied by His Grace Bishop Abraham and His Grace Bishop Kyrillos laid hands on and ordained the blessed servant Samer Mikhaiel as Deacon Matthew Mikhaiel for the Christ loving Diocese of Los Angeles to serve at St. George Coptic Orthodox Church in Bellflower, California prior to his Priesthood ordination on Sunday, November 30, 2025.
Participated in the Divine Liturgy were Hegumen: Fr. Mauritius Mikhail, Presbyters: Fr. Jonah Labib, and Fr. Antonious Sadek, and Fr. Kyrillos Guirguis, Archdeacon: Takla Labib, Archdeacon Arsani Sidarous, and Deacon Arsany Nakhla.
