On the 17th day of the blessed month of Mesore, Wednesday August 23, 2023, His Eminence Metropolitan Serapion accompanied by their Graces His Grace Bishop Suriel, His Grace Bishop Abraham, and His Grace Bishop Kyrillos laid hands on and ordained the blessed servant Mr. Atef Guirguirs, as Deacon Abraam Guirguirs, for the Christ loving Diocese of Los Angeles to serve at St. Pope Kerollos Coptic Orthodox Church.
The ordination took place at St. Pope Kerollos Coptic Orthodox Church in Westminster, California.
Apart from our father His Eminence and their Graces all or part of this blessed event was Hegumen Athanasius and Presbyters Fr. Samuel Aiyed, Fr. Kyrillos Fam, Archdeacon Gabriel Hanna, and Deacon Mikhail Ashamalla.
