On the Feast of the Presentation of the Lord in the Temple and the commemoration of the 21 Coptic Martyrs of Libya, 2nd Sunday of the blessed Coptic month of Amshir, 1742 AM, year of the Martyrs, February 15th, 2026 AD, After the prayer of Reconciliation, His Eminence Metropolitan Serapion accompanied by His Grace Bishop Abraham and His Grace Bishop Kyrillos laid hands on and ordained the blessed Deacon David Tadrous as a priest in the Christ Loving Diocese of Los Angeles to serve at St. Mina Coptic Orthodox Church in Colton California. He was given the name Fr. David Tadrous.
Following the ordination, the new priest will proceede to St. Paul The Apostle Coptic Orthodox Monastery in Murrieta, California, to spend the 40 days. After spending the 40 days, Fr. David Tadrous will return to start his ministry at St. Mina Coptic Orthodox Church in Colton California.
