Saint Thomas the Hermit Coptic Orthodox Church was established in 2007. The first Divine Liturgy was celebrated by His Grace Bishop Serapion in September 2007 at a Greek Orthodox Church.

Three months later, His Grace ordained Father Abraam Megally to serve in this parish as well as Saint George the New Martyr in Hemet.

The Divine Liturgy at the church is prayed 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month, and 2nd and 4th Saturday.
