Saint Maurice Coptic Orthodox Church was established in 1999 to serve Copts living in the Chino area. Initially, services were held in a rented facility and a civic center until the congregation purchased the existing facility in December 2001.

Several priests have served in this church, including Hegumen Father Gawargious Kolta, Father Ishak Azmy Boules, Father John Paul Abdelsayed, and Father David Abdelsayed.

His Grace Bishop Serapion’s residence and the Diocese offices are situated within the parish facility.
