St. Demiana Coptic Orthodox Church (San Diego)
History
Saint Demiana Coptic Orthodox Church in San Diego was founded in 1991 as an increasing number of Copts moved southward from Orange County. Initially, the parish was shepherded by Hegumen Father Felimon Mikhail and other parish priests until the arrival of the current priest, Hegumen Father Mina Youssef Wahba on August 4, 1995.
The parish's services are primarily in the English language, as the parish serves many visiting students at nearby universities.
