On Sunday, October 4, His Grace Bishop Serapion ordained Deacon Beshoy Dawood as a presbyter for the Diocese to serve at St. Demiana Church in Bakersfield along with the Reverend Hegumen Father Daniel Azer Sous.
His Grace Bishop Serapion with Hegumen Fr. Daniel Azer Sous, Fr. Youhanna Farid, and the newly ordained Fr. Beshoy Dawood
Father Beshoy will now travel to Egypt for his 40 day retreat at the Monastery of Abba Bishoy in Wadi El Natrun for training and contemplation before returning to begin his service, God willing.
May the Lord grant him the fruit of the Holy Spirit.
