On the 3rd Sunday of the blessed month of Misra, Misra 17, 1742 AM, year of the Martyrs, August 23, 2026 AD, After the prayer of Reconciliation, His Eminence Metropolitan Serapion laid hands on and ordained the blessed Archdeacon Joseph Joseph as a priest in the Christ Loving Diocese of Los Angeles to serve at Archangels Michael & Gabriel Coptic Orthodox Church in Fresno, California. He was given the name Father Luke Joseph. Participated in this blessed ordination His Grace Bishop Abraham and His Grace Bishop Kyrillos.
Following the ordination, the new priest will proceed to St. Paul The Apostle Coptic Orthodox Monastery in Murrieta, California, to spend the 40 days. After spending the 40 days, His Reverence will return to start his ministry.
