Father Philemon Nashed was born on September 18, 1981 in Cairo, Egypt. His Eminence Metropolitan Serapion accompanied by His Grace Bishop Abraham and His Grace Bishop Kyrillos ordained him as Full Deacon on August 8, 2019, during the monthly clergy meeting and then ordained him as Presbyter on September 8, 2019, to serve at Archangel Michael & Gabriel Coptic Orthodox Church in Fresno, California.
