Father Mark Malak was born in Cairo, Egypt. He was a Director technology Engineer before he was called to the Priesthood. His Eminence Metropolitan Serapion accompanied by His Grace Bishop Abraham and His Grace Bishop Kyrillos ordained him as Full Deacon on December 2, 2016, and then ordained him as Presbyter on December 4, 2016, to serve at St. Maurice Coptic Orthodox Church in Pomona, California.
