General Diocese Youth Meeting
The Diocese is pleased to announce the annual St. Athanasius and St. Cyril Theological Library Conference. The Conference will be presented by His Grace Bishop Serapion and Rev. Fr. George Dragas. This year’s topic will highlight “St. Cyril of Alexandria: A Model of Holiness in the Orthodox Tradition”.
On Friday, July 9, there will be a general youth meeting for all college and young professional youth of the diocese. The meeting will begin with the Evening Raising of Incense from 6:30-7:00p followed by the lecture from our own Fr. Kyrillos Ibrahim of St. Marina Coptic Church. We encourage all churches in the diocese to bring their college and young professional youth groups to this meeting for this occasion.
General Diocese Servants' Meeting
The Conference will be held at St. John Coptic Orthodox Church on Friday July 9th and Saturday July 10th 2010. Youth are especially encouraged to attend Friday evening, while Saturday will also comprise the first annual Diocese Servant’s Meeting.
