Technology Updates from Around the Diocese

Over the past few months, several parishes and servants from around the diocese have worked diligently to bring the richness of the Coptic Orthodox Church to the devices and gadgets people use every day, such as iPhones and iPads. Here are some updates concerning what’s new and updated in technology from around the diocese.

1. iAlhan App Released

A wonderful new application called iAlhan was released through St. Mercurious and St. Abraam Coptic Church in Torrance. This application brings all of the hymns of the popular Alhan.org website, featuring chants by Arsani Louka Sidarous, to your iOS device.

2. St. Demiana Church in San Diego releases Agpeya for iBooks app (iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch)

3. iCoptic App Updated to Version 2.0

The popular iCoptic application, developed through St. Mark Church in Los Angeles, was recently updated to include a beautiful new interface, a fix for incorrect readings in the previous versions, and even daily homilies to help spiritually enrich users. The full list of changes includes
