Today, the Coptic Orthodox Church celebrated the tenth anniversary of the enthronement of His Holiness Pope Tawadros II on the throne of St. Mark the Apostle.
His Holiness Pope Tawadros II celebrated the Divine Liturgy this morning in the Holy Transfiguration Church in Logos Center in Wadi El-Natrun.
Accompanied His Holiness 115 members of the Holy Synod who are also participating in the 9th seminar, which is currently taking place in Logos Center in Wadi El-Natrun, by the Metropolitans, Bishops, and Patriarchal Deputies of Cairo and Alexandria.
The members of the Holy Synod celebrated yesterday, after the evening session of seminar, with His Holiness Pope Tawadros II, and His Eminence Metropolitan Andrews, Metropolitan of Abu Tig and Sidfa, delivered a speech of love on behalf of the members of the Holy Synod, His Eminence expressed the love and appreciation of the members of the Holy Synod and the Faithful of the Church for the tireless work carried out by His Holiness Pope Tawadros II with all love, giving and endurance over the past ten years.
After the Divine Liturgy, a memorial photo was taken of His Holiness Pope Tawadros II, surrounded by members of the Holy Synod.
