Biography

Archdeacon Marcos Hanna was born in Egypt on October 1st, 1934. He graduated from the college of Commerce in 1955. He worked as a Certified Public Accountant till 1963 later leading him to work at a Construction Company (Government Sector) till 1986 as a Chief Financial Officer “CFO”. He worked at Orascom Construction Industries and Subsidiaries as a Procurement Manager till 2000 and worked at Contrack International, Inc in Virginia USA till 2005.

He served as a deacon and Sunday school at Saint Marcos Coptic Orthodox Church, Shoubra. He was responsible of girls' orphanage at St. George Orphan at Shoubra as a Member Board of Churches.

His Grace Bishop Serapion ordained him as an archdeacon on June 21st, 2008 to serve at Saint Maurice Coptic Orthodox Church in Pomona.
